Wake up. Check texts, social media, news. Just a little longer.
Brush teeth. Eat breakfast. Drink coffee. Gotta go.
Music on the way to work. More coffee. More scrolling.
What did I even do today?

We’ve built lives around constant noise.
Phones. Food. Caffeine. TV. Anything to fill the silence.

By night, my mind feels numb.
I’m tired but wired, craving rest yet reaching for my phone again.

I tell myself I’ll stop.
Maybe the fix isn’t deleting everything,
but learning to sit still and be quiet.
